Del Mar's Hirsch, O’Brien Gain Grade I Status
Two of Del Mar's major stakes races were enhanced to Grade I status for the 2009 racing season by the American Graded Stakes Committee at its annual grading session in Lexington in late November.

Del Mar Runners Star in BC Championships
Del Mar-based and raced horses helped put on a large part of the show at the Breeders' Cup championship weekend with four of the 14 stakes events going to runners who had made their marks at the seaside oval this past summer. The four wins represented the most by any track worldwide which contributed runners to the two-day event.

Uncashed Mutuel Tickets and Vouchers
By State law, tickets for the 2008 race meet may be cashed at any California track or satellite location until May 15, 2009. State law forbids acceptance of claims for lost or destroyed tickets. VOUCHERS are good until one year after the conclusion of the current race meet, or September 3, 2009.
